Recently I’ve taken interest upon making my car a little
faster , yes you could add small upgrades like a cold air intake maybe headers
or exhaust some light modifications to gain a little horse power. Still a great
way don’t get me wrong, but I wanted something to add a couple hundred
horsepower. The big question is should you super charge or turbo charge both
add immense amount of power to your car but which one is better for power and
your wallet.
Turbo charge is great and it has a beautiful wisp sound to
it once it kicks in. Yet is not independent I, it relies on exhaust fumes to turn
the turbine sending the air in to the inter cooler and then back into the
engine. Complicated right… well yes it is complicated and much more expensive. Not
only that but it also requires lots more tuning and custom fabrications to be made
to your engine block. A new set of fluid
lines to make it work properly is another add on. So is it really worth it ?
Included a video for you all to watch and hopefully get a
better understanding !Yes it’s not as simple as it sounds to actually charge your
car but it is much simpler then turbo charging much more cost effective as well
yet again thank you to you all for reading until next time J

Hi Emmanuel,
ReplyDeleteI liked your entry and your topic covered. I actually knew the difference between the two beforehand, but I like how you put the information in fairly simple terms. I also like how you include a cost benefit analysis in your post. This is something that I feel is often forgotten in this discussion. I also thought that it was a very good idea to include a video. Keep up the good work.
