Entry#2 On The Rise

Kali Uchis an amazing artist still on the rise after pursing her career in music. Colombian- American, she started her career from the very bottom as you can imagine it. She started to be featured with most artist and casually started to release songs on her own. Releasing EP’s  throughout the years 2012-2017, She released her first album “Isolation” this year.

With collaborations with many well-known artist to further add into her album, She has also been featured in several other albums with different artist making them big hits, for example Daniel ceasar, Juanes , Tyler the creator and much more. She has played along side Lana Del Rey on her tour. Earlier on taking on more of a " Bubble gum Pop" genre with her pink hair and her catchy pop sound.

A very successful  song that won various awards across several platforms, it also held number one for quite a while; “ After the Storm (featuring Tyler The Creator & Bootsy Collins ) “. Her beautiful voice along with both of them makes one hell of a song and amazing visuals. For those of you who have no Idea who they are I’ve left the vid down below ! She has been nominated for two awards ,one of them being for her actual album release and second for top song in the latin community with Juanes!

A couple of songs that really stand out the  most to me would have to be “ She’s My Collar (feat. Kaliuchis) On the album Humanz (Deluxe)"  and a song  from Tylers ablum called Flower boy “ See You Again”

  1. I'm so glad I came across this blog because I love Kali Uchis! Her latest album, Isolation, really caught my eye but it definitely wasn't my first time hearing her angelic voice. Whether it was one of her singles or a collab with Tyler, the Creator, her voice and style has always been captivating. Just like you, I'm awaiting her to drop another album.
